Qur’anic Verse of the Day

Selflessness

And those who already have a place of residence and have deep faith love those who migrate to themand do not find any ill-will in their hearts on what is being given to them[–the migrants –] and give them preference over themselves even though they are in need. And those who have been protected from their own selfishness, it is they who will prosper. (59:9)

Friendship Ties

Abdullah ibn ‘Umar (rta) reported that God’s Messenger (sws) said: “It is not permissible for a Muslim to cut off his relations with his brother for more than three days.”

Bible Verse of the Day

Spending in Charity

Make no store of wealth for yourselves on earth, where it may be turned to dust by worms and weather, and where thieves may come in by force and take it away. But make a store for yourselves in heaven, where it will not be turned to dust and where thieves do not come in to take it away: For where your wealth is, there will your heart be. (Matthew, 6:19-21)
